What do you want to be when you grow up? I can still remember being asked that question at a very young age, probably around 5 or 6 years old, and responding quickly with a resounding, I want to be an animal doctor!

I honestly cannot remember a time in my life when I didn’t want to be a veterinarian. I think I was born with it. And while I didn’t take the straightforward path to get to where I am today, becoming a veterinarian was always my dream.

Rachael has been a veterinary technician for 27 years and has worked with Dr. Padgett since 2011. She enjoys all things Star Wars, Star Trek and MCU, as well as, Gamecock football and NASCAR.

I'm originally from Prosperity, SC and just recently moved down here. I'm working on my associate degree in Horticulture Technology at Trident Technical College.
